Sing (2016)

When this movie was first going on its press tour, all I cared about was Seth MacFarlane. He kept promoting the movie and sharing pictures, the rest of the main cast seemed great, and I just had to see it. I dragged two of my friends to the theater with me and I loved it! They were less impressed, but they still liked it enough. To me, it was just thoroughly enjoyable. I liked the story, loved the animation, and loved the way it was put together.

As a side story: Something to know, I am one of those people who actually enjoys watching the credits, so I make my friends sit there and watch them with me, much to their chagrin. So, this is why I felt dumb. The entire time I am watching this movie, one of the characters, Lance, to be specific, sounded just so familiar, but I could not place it for the life of me. In the first part of the credits where they are just going through the main cast of actors and other major jobs, it said Beck Bennet. I was like, “Beck Bennet was in this movie, who was he? I love him!” Then, the cast list rolls around for the main credits, and they said Beck Bennet voiced Lance, I felt so dumb.

I also think that it is funny because when this movie first came out, I knew who everyone in the main cast was except for Taron Egerton and I didn't care about finding out who he was because the rest of the cast was so magnificent! However, in 2019, Rocketman came out one month after I watched the Kingsman movies for the first time, and now Taron Egerton is one of my favorite actors.

But anyways, I love this movie, and I never get bored watching it.
