Bill & Ted Face the Music (2020)

What can I say, other than this was excellent! This movie really captured the spirit of the characters we have come to know while also putting their age into a proper spin. They aren’t teenagers anymore, and this showed how they are still trying to hold onto a legacy they have been told about for decades. The actresses who played their daughters were spectacular mini versions of them. They really took their personalities and ran with them. This movie pays attention to everything the previous two had done, which was nice to see as you never know with a sequel introduced decades after the last time we had seen our characters (I admittedly loved the Circle K sign in the background). This rounded out the trilogy in a wonderful way and was very welcome from this fan of the characters. I was laughing from the opening scene, and the comedy stayed throughout the movie. I felt the narration was slightly unnecessary, but so miniscule a part, it did take away from the enjoyment of the picture. I feel this movie did service to their most excellent adventure through time, and it was really a blast to see these characters again (along with some very enjoyable new ones).

Side Note: It would be remiss if I did not mention Kristen Schaal and how awesome she was in her role!

And in case you haven't heard, the release date for the movie was 8/21/2020: 8+21+20+20=69 dudes.
